Smallville Supergirl

Laura Vandervoort the new "Smallville" Kara Zor-El.

This was a pain in the *** to make. I strayed away from my normal methods. Normally I use "BURN and DODGE" to make the shadows, this time I Painted every one of the shadows and highlights BY HAND.

I HATE painting hair, specially blond hairs, first it was too yellow, then I "HUE & SATURATED" it and it took a greenish look, so I just made it a little brownish, and cheated ONLY on the hair, and only on the highlights, I used DODGE to make the really bright part. This kind of make it look a little dark blond color. (need to practice on blond more).

There are lots of details I don't like that I may have corrected, but it really was going to take me a lot of time. Some of them are: THE HAIR, THE BOOTS, and the JEANS.

Other than that great practice of a new method, it's actually faster when you get the hang of it. I actually found a faster way to do the flats colors with it, so next time I can shave at least 30min of painting flats.
