This is a portrait from a picture of my beautiful friend. This is a gift I made for her. This is gift 1 of 2, the other is still under production. ;)

Warden: Baby make wee wee, over.
Jared: BABY MAKE WEE WEE, that's not even
a word!!
Warden: Okay fine, a safe phrase!

I thought I had my knight in shining armor
but instead I got a loser in aluminum foil.

No problem at all. I mainly use Photoshop, cause of ease of use for me. I learned to use photoshop for pictures manipulation, on a photography class, but I really wanted to paint with it as a hobby, so countless of tutorials and practices later, I got the hang of it. Never tried Painter, cause I've never had the use to do it.

At first I used Photoshop 7, just a few month ago, I got my hands on CS2, but they are basically the same, or at least the features I use are the same. CS3 I can't use my computer can't handle it... yet (iBook G4, MAC OS 10.3.9). Oh and everything done by mouse.

In all of them I use BURN and DODGE method for the shadows and highlights (they are more photography methods, that's why I know how to use them), on the Supergirl one, was the first time I didn't use them, I painted the shadows myself, maybe if I had used my normal method it would have come out better looking!

But thanks anyway for the comment!

Amazingly done. Loving the eyes and the shadows on the neck. Seriously awesome.
